I recently finished two pieces that I'd like to share with everybody. The first one is a reminder of the simplicity of play. It seems we tend to complicate our lives with so many wasteful things, not to mention responsibilities that are imporant. The more complicated it's gotten the less we remember to be free, young, creative, and playful. This piece also symbolizes the fact that we could return there easily; That all those responsibilities can still be fun. That playfulness is as simple as a tire, rope, and tree. The second piece is from a new series I'm doing on music. I can still remember driving around town with my friends in the infamous piece of crap pinto. And the hard work and dedication of making those mix tapes with the double tape deck..(the timing of hitting the red record button was so imporant). I wish I still owned some of those tapes. There are two more pieces in this series to follow soon. Be on the lookout for them: Boombox and Record Player. "Things Will Swing Back""Mix Tape"
